We deviated slightly from the plan but there were no major interruptions. We filmed the inside shots on the first day which took about 3 hours to complete. We used various shots such as mid shots and close ups. We filmed most shots in one room but as Annabelle runs in through the front door, we filmed from outside of the study room.
We filmed both the protagonist and antagonist scenes in the same room but from different angles and with less light.
On the second day we filmed the outside shots which took about 45 minutes to complete. We experienced good weather but it was cold. We filmed at dusk which meant we were against the clock so to speak but ensured we had enough time so we could get all the shots we needed with a sufficient amount of light to achieve a high quality shot. There was one small problem when the sun had almost gone down, we tried to capture a shot of Nicole's arm covered in the ominous writing but unfortunately it was not of a very high standard. It is not irretrievable though, it can be resolved in after effects or iMovie or After Effects by raising the contrast. Alternatively we could film the scene again but this is not desirable because it would mean taking more time out to get to the location.
To conclude, both days ran smoothly and there were no major problems stopping us from completing our schedule. We were able to achieve the required footage at the desirable high quality. The next step is to finalize our thriller opening by editing and publishing.
