Being new to media studies, I found it hard to differentiate from shot that were similar to each other. For example, a crab shot against a panning shot. Despite struggling at first, I got to grips with the various shots and angles. I felt confident using equipment such as tracking dollies and tripods and this gave much more of an opportunity to experiment with different camera shots.
We used Sony handheld cameras that were compatible with tripods and tracking dollies. These high defenition but easy to use camers gave us enough freedom to learn basic movements and angles. We were able to record shots such as 'close up' and an 'over the shoulder shot', we were also able to use shots such as an 'extreme long shot' due to the high quality of the cameras we used and establishing shots.
